First, a case was built for commercial applications based on extensive trials within an internal bakery set-up. Consequently, this novel form of sodium chloride was introduced to the major players in the UK industrial bakeries.
After continuing to work closely to improve the concept, SODA-LO® was eventually licensed exclusively to FTSE100 global food giant Tate & Lyle.
